  • Junior Internal Auditor

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    -    Conduct operational, financial and compliance audit assignments according to the audit plan, while analyzing and assessing the effectiviness and efficiency of the control environment in order to mitigate identified risks.

     

    -    Prepare audit reports to be submitted to the Head of Internal Audit.

     

    -    Follow-up on the timely and correct execution of the agreed upon action plan.

     

    -    Perform additional tasks upon the request of the Head of Internal Audit.

     

    Profile

    -          1-3 years of  experience in Internal Audit, preferably  in the banking sector

    -           Strong team player able to work effectively with diverse client groups

    -          Accounting, Budgeting and Planning Techniques

    -          self-directed and able to work with minimum supervision

    -          Strong analytical and evaluation ability

    Senior Officer-Back Office Department for Cedrus Invest Bank

    Duties and responsibilities:

     

    -          Oversee and validate back office operations and activities to ensure accuracy of transactions and guarantee an efficient workflow

    -          Control the regulatory reports sent to CMA on a monthly basis 

    -           Verify the opening and closing of client and correspondents accounts in order to confirm precision of the process

    -          Handle all administrative procedures with correspondents and brokers to ensure back office processes are implemented in the most efficient manner and according to preset standards and workflows.

    -          Identify discrepancies in trade data entry, trade recording, clearing or settlement processes.

    -          Process bank’s client operations as transaction settlements and cash transfers

    -          Monitor the maintenance of records related to client transactions and interaction in order to support the effective provision of financial services across the organization.

    -          Validate trades and swift messages, review matching of tickets with the Back Office system and investigate discrepancies & mismatched trades to ascertain these are not repeated, and relays the concerned for proper investigation and corrective action

    -          Ensure strict departmental abidance by local and international requirements, through continuous monitoring of the work and reports of team as well as proper data clearance and registration and maintenance of financial information, by continuously analyzing intra-day client P&L and the effect of market risks on portfolios

    -          Develop of existing reports in order to maximize control tools and hence answer the client’s and management requirements

    -          Propose enhancements on cross-departmental workflows to maximize work efficiency

    -           

    Profile:

    ·         3-5 years of experience in a financial institution or investment bank

    ·         Able to adapt and respond to change

    ·         Very good analytical and communication skills

    ·         Strong team player
