How to Avoid Your Account Being Dormant?
A dormant account is a bank account that has had no customer-initiated transactions for a specified period. Once this period passes, the account may be classified as dormant for security and regulatory reasons.
Dormancy Status Conditions:
- Current Account: Inactive for 12 months with no customer generated transaction.
- Savings Account: Inactive for 24 months with no customer generated transaction.
Keep your account active by using it at least once per year.
